"Training with Stephane, originally when he was a Poliquin Group instructor and now with Kilo Strength Society, has been one of the best learning, growing, and training experiences of my entire training career.

I began with Stephane as I was preparing for the Grid Invitational Tournament. For those unaware, Grid is essentially professional team weightlifting—there is a crossfit, gymnastics, agility, and Olympic lifting component to it—and you compete as a team. Needless to say, this was a difficult task to ask of any coach and Stephane crushed it! We began with three-a-day training: gymnastics, Olympic lifting, and strength sessions. Stephane was able to break down each session so that they all flowed, didn't overtrain me, and progressed so that I could peak and perform optimally. Our team did amazing at the Grid Invitational Tournament, but it satiated my goals, so I moved on to... MMA.

Stephane maintained my strength and conditioning coaching and seemed to adapt to my hectic schedule, goals, and what I asked of him seamlessly. My sessions were fantastic and I finished my first fight in 1:30with a submission victory. I was bigger, stronger, and faster than my opponent. These theme of bigger, stronger, and faster has been consistent throughout my training with Stephane and has led me to becoming a professional MMA fighter.

Not only has Stephane pushed and challenged me, but he has also taught me at every step of the training and allowed me to ask any and all questions I may have and answered with concise, well-thought, and reasoned responses. This has been just as much a learning and growing experience as it has been one of training.

Further, Stephane has been "kind" enough to use me as a guinea pig of sorts. As far as I know, I was one of the first athletes to be assigned Ascending Velocity Body Composition Training—a mix of principles between German Body Composition, 6-12-25, and other training programs, which got me into stupid-good shape. Second, he guinea pigged a brand new training program, Speed Strength Continuum Contrast Training, on me. It was amazing, and again proved to be exactly what I needed as a combat athlete.

I cannot speak highly enough of Stephane, what he has done for me as an athlete, coach, and for my overall health, body composition, and understanding of training.
